PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- Some criminals are the worst of the bunch, but this one is just plain fruit-loops! Philly police are on the lookout for a man they claim robbed a convenience store with a banana! Yeah, but orange you glad it wasn't a loaded banana?

Surveillance video shows the suspect, who cops are calling a man with thin build wearing a tan hoodie, riding a bike to the Tejada Grocery. inside the store, we see the same guy fumbling around and acting suspicious. Cops say he then snatches a banana from the counter, puts it in his pocket, and while pretending the fruit is a gun, points it toward the cashier.

Police claim this banana-bandit split from the store with an undetermined amount of cash, packs of cigarettes and the unregistered banana. It wasn't a completely clean getaway, as the suspect knocks over a trash can as he peels away from the scene of the crime on the bike, which surprisingly wasn't equipped a banana seat. Go figure?

The man is still on the loose and police are asking the public to slip them some info on this fruit felon before he strikes again, 'cause we all know what a slippery slope banana burglary can be.
