HOUSTON — Houston police are trying to identify a man whose body was found near the basement level outside City Hall Wednesday morning.

Construction crews found the body around 10:25 a.m., and police said it appears the victim fell at least 10 to 15 feet from either a window or a platform edge. It is not known when the fall happened.

Police said the man was well-dressed and does not appear to be homeless.

HPD is canvassing the offices at the building to see if anyone is missing.
