HOUSTON - This pit isn't new since a Google Earth photo shows it's existence since at least August of 2014.

"That's a bad one here, it's been here for a long time," according to James Michalec.

Today's Pothole Of The Day is on N. Braeswood near Edloe Street on the way to the medical center. It's been repaired, but it's hard to tell.

"I hit it many a times coming across, because you don't think about the hole. I know it was there but still you don't remember all those things," said Michalec.

Most drivers do know it, and avoid it, but some unsuspecting motorists have no idea what they're up against. It can be a busy stretch of road at times and commuters hate to hit it.

"Sounds like you're going to lose a wheel," Michalec explained.

Frustrated Houstonians want something done.

"Well I think they ought to get some of them guys to go to work instead of just messing around."

But with all the potholes in this city, who has time to mess around?
