Red wine could help you live to be 150

CAMBRIDGE, MA – It might not be pretty, but the idea is to truly die solely of old age and not the diseases that can come with it, like cancer and Alzheimer’s.

Research led by some smarty at Harvard shows there’s a single anti-aging enzyme in the body called SIRTA. That enzyme can be switched on by the antioxidant resveratrol, which is commonly found in red wine (but in small doses).

Well we can’t really booze enough for it to kick start age-reversal, so scientists are packing the antioxidant into drugs which they say could be available in five years.

And hey, with plastic surgery these days, maybe 100 could be the new 40.
