LAS VEGAS — Like you needed another excuse to watch what many are dubbing “The Fight of the Century.”
According to the SportingNews.com, Floyd Mayweather recently levied a complaint over the size of Manny Pacquiao’s protective cup.
That’s right. His protective cup.
Mayweather was allegedly worried that Pacquiao’s cup is too big and sits too high, SportingNews reports, leading him to complain to the Nevada State Athletic Commission. The commission investigated Pacquiao’s cup, and the commissioner marked and signed the piece to make sure it’s the one Pacquiao’s wearing on fight night.
The incident even spurred a number of bizarre tweets, showing Pacquiao in a men’s locker room showing himself to an athletic commission official.
