HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Rockets don’t mind resting and getting ready, while the L.A. Clippers and San Antonio Spurs continue to battle it out in order to advance.  The Clippers and Spurs will play a Game 7 on Saturday night, with the winner earning a spot in the Western Conference Semi-Finals against Houston. Meanwhile, the Rockets practiced Friday for the first time since advancing to the second round.

“Both of those teams are playing extremely hard,” Rockets guard James Harden said after practice on Friday. “They both won two games on each others court, so tomorrow is going to be very interesting to see who will finish off strong. Whoever we’re going to play will be a tough match-up for us. We just have to be prepared mentally and physically to go out there and do whatever it takes to win.”

“We’re definitely itching for that round to be over with,” Rockets forward Josh Smith added. “It’s been a competitive series to watch, but it’s good to get back in the gym, see everybody and get our juices back flowing.”

The Rockets will host Game 1 of the second round on Monday night at Toyota Center.
