NEW YORK, New York - Let's face the truth that not every frog turns into a prince, and not every prince gets the same reception in New York City.  The royal couple is in the Big Apple and the crowds are going crazy.

The duo of Prince William and Kate Middleton were on a pretty tight schedule for Monday and Tuesday, with a fundraiser, a stop in Washington, D.C. to meet the leader of the free world, a get together with the Clintons, a visit to a school and a basketball game.  King LeBron James and Queen Bey, our version of the royals, might join them for a photo op.

But come on, your highness!  If you're touring the Land of the Free, don't just go to Harlem or Brooklyn.  Get an upgrade.  How about Queens, Prince William in Virginia, Port Royal Sound in South Carolina or Houston, Texas, where we'll treat you like a king.

Speaking of William and Kate, take a look at their cake: a guest at the 2011 royal wedding sold a slice of the eight-tiered fruit cake for $7,500 at auction.  All guests received a piece of the cake in a tin with an invitation, and it looks like one of them desperately needed some cash.

Meanwhile, a slice of Charles and Diana's cake sold for $6,000 twenty seven years after the wedding.  So, now you know: go to your pantry, find out what's hot on eBay and start baking your next million.
