HOUSTON - Guns blazed from San Jacinto street to Stafford where shots rang out among a group of young teens.

"We had about about 50 kids in the parking lot of Main Event in Stafford; a shot rang out, everyone scattered," said Captain Patrick Herman, Stafford Police Department.

One young boy was hit. The 14-year old was taken to Memorial Hermann hospital in serious but stable condition. Because the teens disappeared, no suspects are in custody and the search is on.

A couple hours later, in front of the Empire Nightclub in Midtown at San Jacinto and Elgin, police search the ground for evidence after a  drive-by shooting injures six. Thankfully all sustained minor injuries.

Apparently around 1 a.m., an argument went down in the club between two groups, then one group left and as the other group was standing outside, the first group came driving by and opened fire, shooting randomly.

All six were transported to various hospitals, including one male shot in the leg. All are in stable condition.
