MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Target Field, home of the Twins, recently debuted a new service called DraftServ that basically serves as a soda fountain for beer.
Here’s how it works:
A customer goes to a concession cashier, shows ID, and buys a 10 or 20 dollar vendor card to scan at the machine, which dispenses four different types of beers.
Customers are charged by the ounce and they can withdraw up to 48 ounces every 15 minutes.
For those fretting about underage kids attempting to swoop some brew under the radar, there will be an employee at each stand to check ids and also be on the lookout for people who are too drunk to get a refill.
In addition to beer, the stadium will also be offering lobster-stuffed corn dogs and a hangover burger stacked with two patties topped with bacon, American cheese, and a fried egg.
Sounds like they are hitting it outta the park when it comes to “All-Star” options.
