NEW YORK CITY, NY – Trouble at rapper T.I’s concert in New York City ended in a fatal shooting.

According to the NYPD, shots fired during the May 25 rap show left one man dead. Two men and a woman were also wounded by bullets.

It all went down on the third floor of the venue, Irving Plaza.

Witness Sagine Morency says fans freaked out after shots went off.   He was in the midst of the crowd and said it was, “a whole stampede of everyone trying to rush out”.

Police say a fans’ scuffle turned to shots. Chief Robert Boyce says the fight “went on for about five minutes” before someone pulled out a gun.

NYPD says two performers were on stage when shots went off, but T.I didn’t get a chance to hit the stage. Police believe the rapper had no involvement in the incident.

Sounds like fans got a show, but not the one they paid for!
