WAUWATOSA, WI – Fruits and veggies are supposed to be good for you, helping you live a healthier life, but now it seems some fruits may be out to kill you. Well, not the fruit itself, but the venomous spiders that seem to be popping up in bunches of fresh produce all over the world.

A deadly Brazilian wandering spider was found in some bananas in London, and now, black widow spiders have been reported in bunches of grapes found in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Before you swear off fresh fruits forever, experts said it’s actually pretty common to find black widows in fresh fruit, especially grapes, because they like to hang out in grape fields to nosh on other bugs during harvest.
