SPACE – The Space Weather Prediction Center says more solar flares are expected to be released by the sun on Friday, June 13th.

NASA says not to worry about the radiation because it can’t break the earth’s atmosphere.

Well, you might not feel the burn, but the heat waves may be to blame for interrupted radio communications over Europe, causing an R3 strong level blackout.

That’s what Spaceweather.com physicist, Tony Phillips believes.

An R3 radio blackout means a loss of radio contact for about an hour, and decreased navigation signals.

So, if your GPS or cell phone starts acting a little weird, it might not be the Friday the thirteenth hocus-pocus, but it’s definitely something that could make ya go ‘hmm.’
