Seems as though there was an accident during an Austin news station’s traffic update. I’m not talking about a traffic accident; I’m talking about how “TWC News Austin” accidentally tweeted out some lovely gay porn images for its “5:12 p.m. update.”

I can hear the traffic reporter now, “And we’re balls deep on the main route into the center folks, best to avoid the area.”

Of course the station immediately apologized with a follow-up tweet. “We sincerely apologize for an earlier tweet which contained offensive content. We are investigating what happened.”

They’ll probably blame it on some ghost, disgruntled employee or hacker.

This isn’t the first time a news station has tweeted out porn. Memphis television station WREG-TV tweeted out the link to a PornHub account ”rockbone” instead of a link to their weather radar. Wonder what was really on their radar. “Today the forecast is raining men!”

But nothing could compare to the ultimate Twitter fail, when US Airways tweeted out a pick of a woman using a toy plane as a dildo. Well we know that job opening has been filled. I’ll can say is when it comes to Twitter make sure all of your T’s are crossed and that you’ve dotted that I. Because once it’s out, it’s out. Kinda like the gay men in the porn they tweeted.

And that’s today’s helping of The Online Dish with Maggie.
