SANFORD, FL – Spike Lee really spiked some nerves when he tweeted George Zimmerman’s address last year.

Especially since he got the address wrong.

Now an elderly couple-who says they have had some angry folks, and mail, show up at their door — say he needs to pay up for letting the world believe their home was Zimmerman’s.

Lee already said he’s sorry, and even reached a $10,000 settlement with the Sanford, Florida couple. But they say they keep getting hate mail and a media presence from the erroneous retweet.

The suit doesn’t specify how much the couple wants in damages from the ‘Oldboy’ director.
