NETHERLANDS – Holy ship! Look at that yacht.

It belongs to the late Apple CEO, Steve Jobs.

Jobs died before the yacht was completed and made its first public debut just south of Amsterdam.

Jobs named the boat Venus after the roman goddess of love and beauty

The yacht is made with lightweight aluminum and is 256 feet long. Wonder if it comes in both white and black?

The most interesting part of the boat is that it’s controlled by a series of seven, 27 inch iMacs set up in the yacht’s control room.

Just like Apple stores, the cabin windows are large panes, almost floor to ceiling, and the main living area was designed to have walls of glass that were 40 feet long and 10 feet high.

Hope the inside is better looking than the outside.

This yacht might be humungous but one thing that’s not big is the desire for the new iPad Minis.

There were hardly any lines of people outside of Apple stores waiting to get their hands on the new gadget.

Speaking of gadgets, as a gesture of gratitude, each worker involved with the ship’s construction was given an iPod shuffle with “Venus” engraved, along with a note from the Jobs family thanking them for their craftsmanship.

Really that’s all? Just a measly iPod shuffle?

The super yacht will be freighted to the U.S. and it is unknown what the family plans to do with it.
