STOCKHOLM, Sweden – The Swedish military is conducting its version of Sea Hunt for Red October. They’re looking for a mystery ship in the Baltic Sea, 16 miles out from Stockholm.

Sweden’s defense ministry released an amateur photo of what appears to be a partially submerged object in the water.

And, that has caused the largest Swedish military mobilization since the cold war days when the country was always on the lookout for Soviet submarines.

The Swedish military is only calling this a search for “foreign underwater activity.”

No one is officially pointing fingers at the Russians, but Russia is fingering the Dutch, who are giving the finger back to the Russians.

Clearly, this could be anything. Who’s to say it’s not the Swedish chef on vacation?
