Teens arrested after posting dog abuse video to Facebook

ST. LOUIS, MO – In this day and age, post a video to Facebook and it can go viral. A video two teens in Missouri posted went viral, but for all the wrong reasons, and it landed them in a lot of trouble.

Two teens recorded themselves abusing a dog. One teen held the camera while the other punched and threw the dog around. They posted the video to Facebook, and word quickly got back to the police. Thanks to the video spreading, police were able to identify the teens and arrest them. They were both charged with animal abuse.

The dog was taken by animal control and will eventually be put up for adoption.
