SPRAGUE, WA — There are certain deviant behaviors you may expect from a teenaged boy. Kidnapping isn’t one of them.

A 15-year-old has been arrested for allegedly trying to abduct a 22 -month-old from a Washington state park on Monday. Owen Wright was at the park with his two older siblings when the suspect reportedly snatched him and started running. Owen’s ten and eight-year-old brother and sister made such a scene, however, that others started chasing after the suspect, who ultimately dropped Owen and took off.

Police announced their arrest on Wednesday. There is no word on the boy’s motive. Charges are pending.
