HOUSTON - It may not have been pretty but it was effective as the Texans improved to 3-1 on the season with a 27-20 win over the Tennessee Titans.
The Texans got a fast start with head coach Bill O'Brien taking over the play calling on offense. The Texans opened by scoring on their first three drives.
Quarterback Brock Osweiler threw for 254 yards and two touchdowns. One of those was to rookie Will Fuller V who once again had another impressive day. The rookie had a 67-yard punt return for a TD, plus he added seven receptions for 81 yards and another score.
The Texans are firmly in first place with a 3-1 record while the rest of the AFC South Division is at 1-3.
Houston has to travel to Minnesota to play the Vikings next Sunday.
