HOUSTON, TX – 4th of July is around the corner, meaning it’s that time again to cue the Katy Perry music!

The season is officially open for you to go and buy your fireworks in the Lone Star State!

In the Houston area, a lot of the fireworks shops benefit local schools, like Galaxy Fireworks’ partnership with the Morton Ranch High School Band. The kids are practically running the place!

It’s lucky timing for all you fireworks fanatics! The rainy weather right now is working in your favor. It will hopefully prevent anything bad from happening with fires.

Speaking of safety, here are a couple of tips:

  • Always have a water source handy, just in case!
  • Don’t try to relight duds. Nothing good can come from it!
  • Try soaking fireworks in water before putting them in the outside trash.

Armed with your safety tips, stock up now on your fireworks before the holiday and before the crowds!!
