HOUSTON, TEXAS- Who doesn't love free cash!? Could you imagine if you really thought you had a winning scratch-off ticket, only to find out the rules were misleading?

Crazy enough, it sounds like that's exactly what's happened right here in Texas.

The Texas Lottery Commission is facing accusations of misleading ticket holders after dozens of Fun 5's scratch-off players thought they won.

Thing is, when they went to claim their cash... they were told they were losers.

Yea, and we're talking payouts of $500,000. That's got to sting a little.

As frustrating as we can imagine this would be, the Texas Lottery Commission says you have to pay close attention to the rules.

But the losers aren't "buying" it.... instead there's talk of a $10,000,000 lawsuit to be split between the players who claim they won.

Let's hope this ticket-tantrum resolves itself... so angry scratch-off players can stop seeing red over green!
