HOUSTON, TX – In the same week that Oklahoma officials had to push back an execution because they ran out of lethal injection drugs, Texas has announced that finding more pentobarbital here is not a problem.  The state’s existing supply of the deadly drug will expire at the end of the month, but new stuff is already available, although no one will say where it’s coming from.

The current stash was just used Wednesday night.  Ray jasper was executed for the 1998 stabbing death of a music engineer in San Antonio.
