HOUSTON, TX - The Bayou City is a great town, especially for the little ones.  Considered one of the best in the nation, the Children's Museum of Houston is a place where kids can learn while having a good time.   In her search for what's hot in Houston, Erica Rico, The New 93Q Country's DJ, takes us on a fun journey through the museum's most creative attractions.   And nothing says creativity like the Invention Convention area.

"This is where kids can make whatever they want," said Erika Yanez, PR Associate at the Children's Museum of Houston.  "They can design rockets, wind turbines, and they're just testing them and bringing out their entrepreneurial and engineering curiosity."

A self-proclaimed playground for the mind, the Children's Museum of Houston features exhibits and STEM-based activities for kids and the whole family.

"Even though you're having the time of your life when you're visiting, everything has an educational factor to it", concluded Yanez.

The Children's Museum of Houston is celebrating 35 years of transforming communities through innovative child-centered learning.   And kids can bring their grown ups too.
