HOUSTON – As temperatures rise and reach triple digits, Houston’s homeless are desperate for a drink of water. The Star of Hope Love-In-Action Van makes sure to quench that thirst for those men and women longing for that drink.

Distributing hundreds of bottles daily, to locations where homeless men and women are known to be, the Star of Hope makes sure they survive the blistering heat.

Kenneth DeVon Eakins, Outreach Case Manger for the Star of Hope explained, “As simple as it sounds, many people are just really desperate for water.”
