OMAHA, NE – When a 33-year-old woman broke into Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo over the weekend to pet one of their kitties, things didn’t end well.
Jacqueline Eide has a long history of criminal convictions, and reportedly may have been intoxicated when she broke into the zoo Sunday morning. She reportedly reached her hand into an 18-year-old Malayan tiger’s cage, and guess what happened next?
Police say the tiger chomped on Eide’s hand causing wounds so bad she may lose parts of her fingers. She is also being charged with criminal trespassing.
