MIAMI, FL -  The golf world`s reigning number-one player sent his golf club flying in a fit of anger during the second round of the WGC-Cadillac Championship in Miami.

Rory McIlroy was trying to reach the par 5 8th hole in two, but his ball ended up in the water. Then, he hurled his club in after it.

Later McIlroy confessed he let the frustration get to him. The 25-year-old champ recently missed the cut at the Honda Classic.
