NEW YORK, New York -- Meghan Stabler is a single mom, business executive, and human rights activist. She's also been named "Working Mother of the Year" by "Working Mother" magazine.

But wait, there's more. She's the first transgender woman to receive that title.

Though Meghan is honored, she claims she's just like any other mom. Meghan says the inequality working moms deal with on the job is staggering.

For someone who started her life as a male, she says her opinions were more respected when she was a man.

Working mom or not, Meghan says the fight isn't about LGBT rights, but it's about women having a fair and equal chance at leadership in the workplace.

Guess it is true that behind every great man is a great woman.
