Trump on top in latest GOP poll

NEW YORK, NY – According to a new CNN/ORC poll, Donald Trump now leads the 2016 GOP race for the White House by double digits. The results, out Tuesday, reveal 24 percent of voters who self-identify as Republicans or say they’re leaning toward the GOP support Trump. Second-place Jeb Bush only netted 13 percent, while Ben Carson (9 percent), Sen. Marco Rubio (8 percent) and Gov. Scott Walker (8 percent) round out the Top 5.
However, the billionaire candidate can be a bit of a loose cannon at times, whether he’s railing about illegal immigrants or randomly dissing supermodel Heidi Klum. The GOP frontrunner told a New York Times reporter, “Heidi Klum. Sadly, she`s no longer a 10.’
Klum responded with an Instagram video that showed her holding a “10” sign. A man in a Trump mask rips the sign away, revealing another that reads “9.99.” The video’s caption read: “#TrumpHasSpoken #sadly #9.99 #NoLongerA10 #IHadAGoodRun #donaldtrump #trumped #HeidiTrumpsTrump #BeautyIsInTheEyeOfTheBeheld.”
Perhaps Trump should focus on the task at hand: securing the Republican nomination for president. Because, as Klum so famously says, “One day you’re in and the next, you’re out.”
