OAKLAND PARK, FL – If you’re a fan of UFC, you know who Thiago Silva is—known for his skills inside the cage. But it’s a fight outside the arena that’s got him in a whlole lot of trouble.

Florida police say Silva allegedly confronted his wife outside the Pablo Popovitch Mixed Martial Arts Academy on Thursday, claiming she was two-timing him even though the couple has been separated since 2012. Things got heated and Silva reportedly pulled out a gun and told her to bring Pablo outside. He threatened that if she didn’t listen, he was going to go inside and start shooting everyone. Pablo came outside but quickly went back in and called 911. By the time police arrived, Silva had already fled to his house. After a short, non-violent standoff with a SWAT team, Silva was arrested.

He’s facing a slew of charges, and things aren’t looking good for his professional career either. The UFC terminated his contract. But with all the charges against him, he’s likely going to still feel some punches—the time from the law.
