WASHINGTON —Two Democratic operatives are out of work after undercover videos appear to show them planning to disrupt Donald Trump rallies and possibly commit voter fraud.

The videos were secretly recorded by Project Veritas Action, a conservative activist group founded by James O'Keefe. The group has a long history of infiltrating liberal organizations under false pretenses and releasing heavily edited video from the encounters.

In the latest episode, Project Veritas met with Scott Foval, at the time the national field director for Americans United for Change, a group subcontracted by the Democratic National Committee. Foval has since been fired after video shows him discussing ways to incite violence at Trump campaign events. On video he is seen saying, "I mean honestly, it Is not hard to get some of these a**holes to pop off," seemingly in reference to Trump supporters. He also admits to having tactics for agitation, saying, "There's a script. There's a script of engagement and sometimes the crazies bite and sometimes the crazies don't bite."

Robert Creamer is another Democratic operative who has now resigned his position since the videos came out, the former head of a consulting firm hired by the DNC. The video shows him talking about organizing counter protests at Trump events, saying, "Wherever Trump and Pence are gonna be we have events. And we have a whole team across the country that does that."

For their part, the progressive consulting group that Creamer worked with, Democracy Partners, released a statement on Facebook. It says that the firm has been the victim of a well-funded spy operation using elaborate covers to goad individuals into making careless statements.

The videos certainly contains a lot of edits and it's tough to tell what was taken out of context. But at first glance, it does not look good.
