VATICAN CITY – It’s official! All the cardinals have arrived at The Vatican. And you know what that means: ‘Let’s get ready to Conclave!’
The word out of The Vatican is that next Tuesday the eligible cardinals will attend morning mass at the Sistine Chapel and then get locked behind closed doors until they choose the next successor to St. Peter. Once inside, the cardinals will also decide how to spend their days.
The cardinals will sleep in the Casa Santa Marta hotel inside the walls of Vatican City. This is where the new pope will stay until his papal digs are ready.
The cardinals will have no communication with the outside world until they elect the pope. So, don`t expect them to tweet daily updates.
Even in this hi-tech age, The Vatican still relies on smoke signals.
