WASHINGTON, D.C. – Everybody loves a waiter with speedy service.  One literally kicked into high gear to help save an elderly man who was being robbed at knife-point.  The attack that was caught on cell phone camera happened across the street from The Dignitary bar on Massachusetts Avenue NW.

The waiter is dressed in all black like a ninja in the night, runs over and jump-kicks the attacker, then wrestles him away from the victim.  That’s what you call 5-star service.

Too bad the attacker got off with the man’s wallet, but thankfully it didn’t cost him his life.  The waiter wants to remain unidentified, but gave a tip to police; the shirt off his back.

Detectives hope to find the DNA on it, and the knife that was left behind.  While he’s at it, maybe he should trade in his apron for a cape.
