FT. BEND COUNTY, TX -  “A minor disagreement.” That`s what investigators are saying led three siblings to kill their mother`s live-in boyfriend.

Sgt. Dalia Simons, Ft. Bend County Sheriff’s Office says, “We`ve talked to the mother of the children. She`s upset.”

No doubt! Her 40-year-old boyfriend Bennett White is dead. And her daughter, 17-year-old Darlecia Johnson and son, 19-year-old Lavaris Harris are facing murder charges.   Bond was set at 150-thousand dollars each.

Another 16-year-old son is at the Ft. Bend County Juvenile Detention Center.  According to Sgt. Simons, “They each played a role in the murder.”

The Ft. Bend County neighborhood was shattered by gunfire Tuesday evening.  Neighbor Esdras Rodriguez heard it. “1-2-3! Three gunshots to that guy right over there,” he says. Javier Carmona says his step-father called the Sheriff. “I left home. After 20 minutes I came back. I saw the guy on the ground just in front of the door.”

Investigators found a 3-year-old living at the house, too, and that`s not all. There were bladed weapons and a handgun, too.

According to neighbors, the family just moved in recently and can only speculate about the events that led to murder. They never got to know them. Now, they might not get the chance.
