SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – A woman in California is so upset with her neighbors, she put up a special little message for them in her front yard.

June Sortore lives in the tribal community of Santa Ysabel. She’s upset with tribal leaders and homeowners because they’ve let their cattle run free, ruining her yard. She’s also mad at the alleged mishandling of tribal funds.

Her revenge? She put up a 10-foot statue in her front yard of a hand flippin’ the bird. It’s been up on her front lawn for the past five years, but she’s just now getting flack for it after the tribal office asked her to remove it because they said it was embarrassing and offensive.

Despite the controversy, June says she plans to keep the statue up because it’s her freedom of speech and a piece of art.
