FAIRFIELD, CA – There’s a new super hero on the streets of California, saving the city from a gang of villains. Sounds like a movie trailer for a new feature film, but what we’re really talking about is an extra special wish that came true for a sick, young girl.
Nine-year-old girl Kaylinn Sciortino was born with Ehler’s Danlos syndrome, an incurable connective tissue disorder that makes her very fragile. You’d never guess it if you saw her take the streets as Iron Girl. Thanks to the Wish Connection, her wish to be a super hero came to life. She got to be a super hero for a day, alongside others like Captain America.
Kaylinn also received an extra special gift from the Mayor of Fairfield. He surprised her with $500 shopping spree to a local mall. Way to go Iron Girl!
