HOUSTON – In the true spirit of what the holiday season is all about, 6 foot 3 Rockets point guard Jeremy Lin hosted a shopping spree for disadvantaged kids at the Toys’R’Us on Old Spanish Trail.

The spree was kicked off with breakfast for the 25 kids participating. Always a team player, Lin recruited his parents, twoo brothers and sister-in-law to lend a helping hand. After the meal came the main event as Lin led the children down the toy filled aisles. Each of the kids had a $100 giftcard supplied by the basketball player himself.

The children were selected by Rockets Charity Partners from families who needed some assistance during this holiday season. So forget about “Lin-sanity”… Lin “Santa”ty is coming to town.
