METRO considering 3-person carpool requirement in HOV lanes

Houston commuters could be in for a significant change on the roadways, specially in the city’s carpool lanes. METRO officials are considering changing the HOV lane requirement of two riders to a driver and two passengers during peak traffic hours. It could relieve traffic in the lane, but it could also inconvenience commuters throughout town.
