Each week, we feature student artwork in our studio on the art spot. This week, we're featuring art from students over at Aldine ISD's Aldine Senior High School.

Our first piece is by 16-year-old Alan Rodriguez. He's a sophomore and his piece is called "Ink." Now Alan used a blue ink pen to create his piece, and explained that it looks messy because he did it using continuous lines, meaning he didn't lift his pen from the paper the entire time he drew it.

Our second piece is by 17-year-old Sara Sanchez. She's a junior, and her piece is called "Strange Rocks in the River." Sara says she was inspired by David Hockney's landscapes and strong colors, which she tried to represent in her piece.
