HOUSTON (CW39) – Residents are preparing for a now downgraded Hurricane Delta to hit make landfall along the Louisiana Gulf coast tonight.

Residents with the cone of of what is expected to bring strong winds are saying “better to prepare for the worst, and hope for the best.”

Supplies are also expected to be in strong demand, but will supplies meet the needs of residents who could face power outages? Safety concerns with generators are also an issue.
