HOUSTON -- Nine suspects were arrested Wednesday after an AT&T store robbery in northwest Houston.

According to Houston police, a deputy was at a fast food restaurant behind the store on Louetta and Kuykendahl around 8 p.m. when he noticed four vehicles in the parking lot of the business. The deputy swiftly alerted other authorities as the perpetrators looted boxes of iPhones and other electronics.

Several units arrived and detained a number of suspects inside the store, while K-9 units pursued the suspects who fled on foot. One of the suspects was injured from a dog bite.

It is unclear how much merchandise was taken and if weapons were involved.
