HOUSTON - It was a dance party and a quick lesson in physical education at Milton Cooper Elementary Thursday afternoon where the Houston Rockets and Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital tipped off their 2016-17 Be Fit program.

The Be Fit program encourages and rewards children for pursuing a healthier lifestyle through good nutritional choices and physical activity.

Rockets center Clint Capela led the way.

"To have this moment with the kids and let them know how important it is to be healthy, to be fit, that was just unbelievable," Capela said.

As part of the exercise clinic, students learned some dance moves thanks to the Rockets Power Dancers. The team also donated a large amount of athletic equipment to help with the school's physical education program.
