HPD: Suspect still at large after man stabbed in neck, torso in north Houston

HOUSTON — Houston police are searching for a possible suspect after a local man was stabbed in the neck over the weekend.

Major assault investigators responded around 1:10 a.m. Saturday near Berry Road and Madie where they found the victim, 33, lying in the roadway.

While police searched for the suspect, the injured man was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition.

Police said the man was also stabbed in the torso. As of Monday, there has been no update as to his condition.

"No witnesses. No suspects that we know of. We are collecting evidence of the scene. The victim is in critical condition but is expected to survive," HPD Officer R. Naughton said.
