GALVESTON, Texas– A League City woman has pleaded guilty to receiving child pornography after accepting photos of a teenage girl, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

Investigators said Tracey Bautista, 46, received several photos and videos of the 16-year-old using the popular messaging app Kik. The sender had been arrested for the promotion of child porn, the office said.

Authorities said Bautista acknowledged she had received of these images by responding with “nice” and “wow. good pic.”

Text messages in which Bautista talked about an underage relative with the individual were also found, investigators said. She is accused of offering to get pictures of the teen before later sending photos of her with her breast exposed, authorities said.

Bautista is scheduled to appear in court for sentencing April 29.

She faces a minimum of five years and up to 20 years in federal prison, as well as a possible $250,000 fine. She was allowed to remain out on bond until the hearing.
