HOUSTON (KIAH) — A man is dead after a crash in southeast Houston on Sunday night.
It happened around 11:30 p.m., as Houston police said a man driving a silver Honda Accord southbound on the Gulf Freeway hit a curb at the Scarsdale Boulevard exit, causing him to lose control and hit a light pole.
The 40-year-old man died at the scene. He was the only one in the car.
No other vehicles or persons were involved in the crash. The investigation is continuing.
