HOUSTON — Investigators have identified a man found deceased in the parking lot of a north Houston convenience store Friday night, the Houston Police Department confirmed.

Cameron Lherault, 19, was found after a shooting reported at 11 p.m. outside the Best Food Market on Nordling near E. Tidwell Road.

The victim was found in the driver’s seat of his car with multiple gunshot wounds when police arrived.

The teen was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Witnesses told homicide detectives they heard a couple of gunshots and then saw a car speed off.

It’s possible the gunman was inside the car with the victim, police said. Investigators are hoping the store’s surveillance video will help to identify the suspect.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
