SPRING, Texas — An officer-involved shooting in Spring left a woman dead Monday night in her driveway.

Investigators said deputies were called to a home on Spring Dane Drive after receiving  a calla from the women’s family members in Waco. The family said she was threatening to kill them and want deputies to check on her.

Deputies went to the house and were waiting for back-up when the woman pulled into her driveway. Investigators said she got out of her car with a pistol.

They said she then pointed the gun at them and that’s when a deputy shot and killed her.

Deputies tell NewsFix they’ve been called out to this house before for similar threats.
