HOUSTON– One suspect was killed and another is on the run after deputies were forced to open fire on suspects in a stolen car Tuesday afternoon, according to Harris County Sheriff’s deputies.
Deputies spotted three men in a stolen truck in the 9500 block of Airline around 2 p.m., authorities said.
When deputies attempted to confront the men, the suspects tried to ram the truck into the deputies, forcing the officers to open fire.
One suspect was shot and killed, another was caught, but the third suspect got away.
No deputies were injured.
Both Houston police and HCSO responded to the scene.
