GENEVA, Switzerland - Bad news for people who suffer from 'the clap.'

According to the World Health Organization, we are running out of ways to treat gonorrhea!

It could effect lots of people since WHO officials said 78 million people suffer from the sexually-transmitted disease.

Researchers said the current strain of "super gonorrhea" can resist just about every antibiotic available because the bacterium that causes gonorrhea can change and adapt quickly enough to defend itself.

With time running out, scientists hope new drugs can be discovered soon.

Then, we'll really have something to clap about!
