MAASTRICHT, The Netherlands - We've seen the vile, unspeakable acts committed by ISIS thugs.

One of their tactics is using slickly-produced recruitment videos to entice young boys and girls to join their crusade.

Three teen girls from Colorado were recently caught trying to join the jihad, but were stopped by German authorities before they made it to Syria.

It's a terrifying thought for parents, who can only sit back and hope authorities will bring their children home.

However, one mom from the Netherlands wasn't about to sit idly by when her 19-year-old daughter traveled to Syria to marry a jihadist.

The mom says her daughter met Omar Yilmaz through social media.

He's a Dutch-Turkish jihadi who previously served in the Dutch military.

The two married, but surpirise, surprise, things didn't work out.

There was only one thing left to do and that was call mom for help!

Despite warnings from the police, mom risked her life and traveled to Syria, somehow found her daughter and brought her back to The Netherlands.

More proof that you should never mess with mom!
