IOWA CITY, IA - We shouldn't have to tell you that marijuana and motor vehicles don't mix, but just in case you needed a refresher course on the dangers of rolling stoned, we'll use an Iowa man's case as an example.

Gilbert Phelps was riding high when Iowa City Police pulled him over for speeding and having an obstructed registration sticker. At first, police thought he was drunk, but the breathalyzer registered .0% blood alcohol content. It didn't take long, however, for a 'certified drug recognition expert' to figure out Phelps was as high as a kite.

Only a stoner would Snapchat a selfie with the arresting officer in the background, giving a thumbs up. The officer even wrote about it in the police report, including what emojis he used.

Phelps was charged with driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, and he's due in court August 17th. Talk about a buzz kill!
